Self Management Coaching
Through the period of adolescence, teenagers begin to build and enhance their skills of self-management in preparation for transition to higher education, adulthood and life outside the family home.Teenagers with strong self-management skills are better prepared to navigate challenges and benefit from increased self-confidence and independence, laying the groundwork for future success in adulthood.How coaching can helpCoaching can help teenagers develop these essential self-management skills by providing a safe space to explore areas of challenge. My focus is on generating self awareness, identifying and mitigating blockers/limiting beliefs, creating actionable plans through goal setting and providing tools and strategies for problem solving.Through regular check-ins and self-reflection, coaching also promotes accountability and helps teens build a strong foundation of skills to navigate academic and personal challenges confidently.Coaching topics include:- Making plans and goal setting

About me
I originally trained as a solicitor in the UK, working as an employment lawyer in Manchester for 15 years before relocating to Portugal in 2015 with my husband and two children.After arriving in Portugal, I was active in my children’s international school community and took on the role of Head of the Parent Teacher Association, helping new families integrate into school life and the wider community. Following that I decided to retrain as a coach, gaining my qualification at the University of Cambridge.Now, I use my coaching skills to support young people through the career exploration process as well as equipping them with the necessary skills for future happiness and success.In my free time, I love walking in the Sintra hills with family and our dog Oscar, running, playing tennis and spending time with my family and friends.
